Privacy notice

Open ENF doesn't currently require users to login or submit any personal data to use the service, but that's likely to change as the service develops. Check back here regularly to keep track of changes to our policy. However, we do store the following data:

• We may upload sound files you have submitted to our server and keep them for up to 3 years for the purposes of improving our service. These files will not be shared with any third parties without your seperate explicit permission. If you've uploaded a file that you'd like us to remove from our server email search@openenf.io
• We sometimes store frequency data extracted from sound files on your local machine in the form of cookies. We do this to improve the speed of our service. It's impossible to recreate the sound files themselves using just this data.
